Coty Alexander’s Acting Career Includes Portraying the World’s Most Eclectic and Iconic Blonde’s
Coty’s passion was dance, acting and singing as a child growing up in Los Angeles, and there she started her path from acting in national commercials, film, television, music videos, and radio ads, into live stints including DOD performance for the troops worldwide.
Her newest act is the world-renowned icon, Lady Gaga! Coty didn’t stop after achieving her “dead on ” portrayals of Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears or Marilyn Monroe. Like any actress, Coty became motivated by the character, and of course Gaga’s career presence caught her eye. “Coty Gaga” became her newest act and stage name.
Lady Gaga’s popularity immediately filled Coty’s 2011-performance schedule with two, major Arena shows including the International Rugby Tournament, and Borderfest. This was in addition to corporate events for Banana Republic, Global English, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, Travel Leaders, The Hollywood Casino, Chukchansi Casino’s, and Bally’s Atlantic City. Coty also opened Legends in Concert’s brand new show’s in both Atlantic City and in Waikiki as Lady Gaga in 2011/12.
Coty’s successful entertainment career as a lead singer “as” the world’s most Iconic Blondes, in one of the most renowned cities in the world, is proven by performing long term contracts back to back in two of the biggest shows of its kind in Las Vegas with her variety of acts. Her specialty is accomplishing the diversity of various vocal styles, along with creating the look and mannerisms to match a star’s performance.
The Honolulu Star’s critic said, “Alexander portrays Gaga with authentic panache and pop appeal.” In “What’s On” they touted, “She gives the Material Girl a makeover with an amazing voice that proves her talent as a singer on her own.” Destinations Las Vegas says, “She performs dead on renditions.” “The look, the ability to dance and the vocal quality to match an artist, is no easy task, but with Coty’s natural sex appeal, fiery energy, and attention to detail, she makes being someone else seem like an easy role.”
Coty’s reputation of an “Immaculate” portrayal has been seen on billboards and magazine covers worldwide. Television and newspaper recognition includes Ellen Degeneres’ “The Really Big Show”, The Surreal Life, The Carson Daly Show, Good Morning America, E! Entertainment, MTV, The Travel Channel, Discovery, Rolling Stone Magazine, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Los Angeles and The New York Times. Madonna’s producers for her Reinvention tour even followed Coty for three days shooting the life of a Madonna Tribute Artist in Las Vegas. Coty is known as one of the most sought after tribute artists in her business.
