JUDAS PRIEST Tribute Bio

Painkiller the Ultimate Judas Priest Tribute was formed in 2001. Painkiller looks, acts, and sounds like Judas Priest. They have an excellent stage show and an authentic early 80's "Unleashed in the East" look and sound. Painkiller features members of Aeromyth, Pyromania, Nickelband, as well as other tribute bands. Michael Joseph and Neal Shelton came from the original metal band "Black Triangle." This band had a very similar sound to Judas Priest, and they had a song on the 1999 Season Finale of the NBC TV show, "THE PRETENDER." NBC used the original Black Triangle song "No Way Out." on "The End Game" Episode.
Painkiller has performed at many venues including The House of Blues Hollywood and Anaheim. Painkiller has shared the stage with many national acts including RATT, LA GUNS, and BULLET BOYS.
